      Eccovi un report dei danni da freddo causati durante quest’inverno a Leu Gardens ad Orlando,FLorida, USA Zona USDA 9b /10a
      Durante l’inverno  2009-2010 c’e stato un record di freddo prolungato. La minima assoluta è stata di soli -1,6 ‘ C a Gennaio il record è stata la durata del freddo, inconsueta a queste latitudini. Anche Febbraio e Marzo sono stati più freschi del normale . parecchie piante li per lì sembravano senza danni, il declino è iniziato diverse settimane dopo.

        Mi hanno proposto dei seedling di Ceroxylon quindiuense..ma non credo che quelli possano avere molte possibilità di riuscità sulla costa. Potrei provare l’amazonicum..chissà, però sulla costa la vedo durissima !
